Anyone else?

My toddler has started asking for a toy, I pass it him then he instantly throws it & starts screaming crying for it, He’s 2 years old, I know it’s a lot of emotions & Ive been told they don’t always make sense at this age🫣 he’s my first, As he does it most days now just seeing if anyone experiences this? At first I thought it was a sign he’s overtired just being cranky🤣 but he does it after naps even, Any comment on how to help deal with it cause I don’t like seeing him upset would be appreciated x

My 3 year old used to do this constantly. I think it’s about wanting control over something since toddlers dont have much control over anything. Sometimes it’s a thing just to get attention too. Toddlers are silly.

When my daughter did this I would ask her where she wanted me to put the toy or I would hand her the toy in a fun way like have it roll or bounce over to her. It was also a good opportunity to teach her to say please lol

We’re at this stage now! I ask my little boy if he would like it back, then move it closer to him 😬

Definitely the age my little one does similar things, usually my little one is making up a game or resting to make me laugh 😂
