Baby bjorn mini

Any experts here?? Is this correct? I’ve just bought the baby bjorn mini for my 3 week old and I’m not sure if his position is correct? It feels like his head/neck isn’t supported properly. (Unclipped head supporting photo for reference)

Hi I have this carrier, fold the head and neck support forward and then clip it in

Hard to tell from the angle, but looks a little low down? He should be close enough to kiss easily.

Do you have a baby sling library near you that could help with the correct position? X

I'd really recommend popping along to your local sling library where they will be able to offer fit checks and help you get him well-positioned :) there's also a Facebook group where you can ask for fit checks and advice https://www.facebook.com/groups/392468534286432/?ref=share

definitely have baby’s nose away from your chest, his head turned to the side. & that little one meets the weight and age requirements. Videos online have helped me in the past too.

Definitely try the FB page Sophie has suggested - send them a photo from the front, side and back. Also pop babies hands and arms inside the carrier with hands under their chin to help keep their airways clear.

Hard to tell but looks a bit low down I think it’s higher nearer to the chest/chin? X

Defo have the baby’s head turned so the nose is free.

Like others have said, your baby probably needs to be higher. It also looks like he/she is slumped so the carrier should be tightened. And yes, preferably move head to the right or left. Look at the following web page for the safe way to carry. https://ergobaby.co.uk/blog/post/the-t-i-c-k-s-rule-for-safe-babywearing
