I’ve always been against it when they’re younger, my toddler is almost 2 and he sleeps in our bed with us most of the time and has done since he’s been able to walk/get on and off the bed himself safely, but I wouldn’t even dream of having our newborn in with us!! X

Ideally yes...but if baby won't sleep and it's the only way your going to get sleep, with safe sleep practices you can cosleep safely... I wouldn't want to long term though.

i’m not massively against it, i just think safe sleep should be encouraged. that being said there were a few times i had my baby in bed with me when they were about 12 weeks because i was exhausted and had little to no support whilst partner was working 50+ hour long weeks. i was that exhausted i thought it was safer if baby was next to me than me falling asleep holding her.

I used to be against it as I was worried about the risks, but my first baby woke up every 45 minutes for the first 6 months of his life, and I would not have survived without cosleeping! Obviously need to follow all the safety guidelines
