Anyone else experiencing nerve pain on your thigh ???

I’m waking up in the middle of the night with these sharp numbing , stabbing pain on my left thigh . It’s only happening to my left . Where I do sleep and put weight on it but when I try to switch sides . I’m in constant pain from the nerve . Basically my question is what can I do to help it stop or just stop happening in general 😭

I literally just read that it is normal when you’re in your third trimester. A heating pad, a warm tub, stretches or just some self-imposed bed rest can help with the discomfort. So can pregnancy-approved physical therapy and some complementary and alternative therapies .

As he gets settled into position for birth, your little one's head and your growing uterus may rest on the sciatic nerve in the lower part of your spine. If that happens, you may feel sharp, shooting pain, tingling or numbness that starts in your buttocks and radiates down the back of your legs — otherwise known as sciatica . The pain of sciatica can be quite intense at times, and though it may pass if your baby shifts positions, it can also linger until you've delivered.

Not the same pain but I get Charlie horse cramps in my calf that cause my leg to hurt for days after. I noticed it seems to be the leg I lay on also. Im goin to try to drink water. Last pregnancy I think I was recommended magnesium for cramps but would need to check with doc for dosage. Also I know cramping is different than nerve pain so might be another method to fix it. Im sure there's some kind of stretches that would help. I need to look into some stretches for sciatica pain ive got just havent gotten around to it 😅

My butt thigh part is definitely been painful when I get up, I can’t move sometimes I gotta stand there to get myself together.
