Hey xx is she bilingual?

Has she been seen by the health visitor when she was 2? They would’ve picked up on it as they did with my son. I then got referred to a speech & language specialist who diagnosed him with speech delay & now there’s a plan set out Through these they’ve also been able to tell he’s showing traits of autism (we noticed these too) so he’s on the waiting list for an assessment to see if he is. Better to speak to a specialist as the earlier you get a profession opinion the better for her x My son barely was saying any words at 2ish & now it makes sense coz he’s got speech delay He’s gonna be 3 in 3 months & is saying alot more now

I took my son to a speech therapist for an assessment recently because I felt is communication/ language level wasn’t where it was supposed to be. He was diagnosed with mixed language disorder. Luckily, it is treatable with a few small adjustments at home and a few short sessions. Sometimes as moms, we have to trust our worries.
