Thank you, will put him in his cot, can I breastfeed after 3 gins??
You should wait at least an hour per drink after your last drink before breastfeeding (so three hours after your last gin). But if you have pumped/stored breast milk, that’d be best for baby
I’ve drank wine before but my daughter sleeps through the night so by the time she was awake it was completely gone. Why can’t baby sleep on tummy tho if he rolled himself over ?
Don’t worry about how much alcohol you’ve had before breastfeeding. It’s like a drop in the ocean percentage-wise.. but put her in her bassinet/crib. You don’t want to roll over her and not wake up! You’ll be ok!
This is what the cdc says about alcohol and breastfeeding: https://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding-special-circumstances/hcp/vaccine-medication-drugs/alcohol.html#:~:text=Exposure%20to%20alcohol%20above%20moderate,%2C%20growth%2C%20and%20sleep%20patterns. “Not drinking alcohol is the safest option for breastfeeding mothers. However, moderate alcohol consumption, meaning up to one standard drink in a day, is not known to be harmful to the infant. To be safest, the mother can wait at least 2 hours after a single drink before nursing.”

Never co-sleep if you have alcohol in your system. If both you and your partner have had drinks, please put your baby in a crib or pack and play. It’s not worth the risk. If your baby can roll, it’s safe for them to sleep on their stomach (but still recommended to put them to sleep on their backs).
