@Jorgia thank you so much 😁 I am currently 24 weeks so this has put my mind at rest a little. X
In 28+2 and hoenstly i still don't even have a pattern really. When I'm at work i don't really feel much but when I'm home I feel loads and I don't know if its because I'm busy at work that I don't feel much. I've not bopped down to triagecat any point, I just lay on my left side and wait till I feel something, if its been longer than like 3 hours and I don't feel anything then I'll go is my ruel of thumb but I've never gotten to that, just convinced my son loves giving me a fright
What you said by morning and evening that is their pattern, I didn’t track nothing more specific because I honestly think it’ll drive you insane!!! I knew that on my way to work baby would have a crazy hour and again around dinner time, so I know I’d make sure this would be the case daily - otherwise I’d have something sugary to encourage movement xx
I’m not lol. 33 weeks and I can’t really detect a pattern, but as long as I feel her move a few times a day I’m not worried at all.
@Vicki thank you so much! This sounds like a good plan 😁
@Aimee thank you 😁 this is really helpful
@megan it is so daunting! Bless ya. Always here if you need to message. Xx
When I was pregnant I got so stressed about this as I could never say I noticed a “pattern” the only thing I noticed was he would move more when I got in the bath. The midwife told me dont worry about tracking and instead if there is a day that you think you havent felt him just have a fizzy or high sugar drink or get a bath and see if they move then. I would always say though just go with it dont track as such but if you think you havent felt them one day for a long period of time just go get checked. I went twice to hospital because I thought I hadnt felt baby and both times was fine and moved loads soon as I got on monitor but the hospital staff are lovely about it and my mind was put at rest. Good luck! X
30 weeks and I’m still pretty sure baby has no discernible pattern, but I did notice when something felt different/ less frequent though I couldn’t describe a “normal pattern!” I got checked out and all was fine, but yeah, I wouldn’t worry too much if you can’t figure out anything too specific!
I'm 33 weeks and I don't see a pattern. I notice baby move when I'm about to go asleep like they're on a rollercoaster. As they get bigger though I feel them move more when i eat etc. i was super stressed at 28 weeks when I kept being told I needed to identify a pattern, but as long as I feel baby move a couple of times a day, I know the baby is okay:)
Check out https://www.kickscount.org.uk/ They also have a wristband you can invest in so you can spin it on the go.
Some babies never have a pattern. I’m nearly 32 weeks and my baby doesn’t have a noticeable pattern. My midwife said that’s fine. I feel her movements a few times throughout the day and trust my instincts.
Not meant to have a pattern until 28 weeks or so. I personally started tracking mine early on, about 15 weeks, just more for my own benefit. I just make a note in notes on iPhone. I.E 26/04 and then just the times as 12:16am / 1am and so on. It’s not perfect and I don’t care if I forget to note a time etc but it gives me an idea on how to work her times and likely pattern, which even though I’m only 20 weeks, we have a pattern more or less established. You can also use apps as well like kick count or ones built into pregnancy apps. Good luck ☺️
I am given a chart to track movements From 28 weeks I think they said when the baby is most active Lay down for 2 hours And you MUST count at least 6 movements in 2 hours If that does not happen call your LD department For rest of the day you should continue to feel movements

I drove myself insane tracking baby movements. I definitely went overboard
They say your baby doesn’t have a pattern of movements until 28 weeks. Which I’m still trying to figure, it’s all so confusing
