@Betty oh gosh it’s so hard isn’t it? It’s like every little thing has become a challenge but it’s the things we need to do like change nappies, getting dressed or brushing teeth. And the tantrums from it are so bad, I literally cried this morning too. I’m just so exhausted. Sorry you’re going through the same thing (especially with a baby also!), but it’s also good to know I’m not alone and this is usual 2 year old behaviour 😭 hopefully things become easier soon! X
Yes! My little girl has been challenging for a while but things seem to have really levelled up over the last couple weeks. She’s constantly running off when we’re out of the house, refusing to hold my hand or go in the pram so even once we manage to get out of the house it’s just not enjoyable at all
@Hannah my little boy was doing this to me yesterday. I ended up carrying him loads across roads etc. He was thrashing around like crazy and weighs 17kg. My back is on bits today 😄
Sounds exactly like my week with my little boy. On Thursday my partner had to come home from work early as I was at my wits end. I also have a ten week old. My toddler resisted everything all day, refused to eat, refused to let me change his bum ( I had to literally pin him down which made things worse) and refused to get dressed. My partner came home and said it was because I'd not taken him out, and I was like, how do I take him out when he won't get dressed and if I put his clothes on his just took them back off?! Normally I can kind of reason with him or distract him but nothing worked at all 😞 it was horrible, I genuinely ended up crying in front of both kids because it got so bad. You're not alone ❤️
