It was the same for me. I was told my son was measuring very big and he wasn’t even close to what they estimated when born x
So inaccurate too.. said he was going to be 10lbs + when they weighed him he was 7lbs I asked them to weigh him again and had zero clothes that fitted him haha 😂
Weirdly enough, mine was pretty much bang-on! Last scan at 34+4 showed 3250gr and baby was born (prematurely) at 35+1 weighing 3440gr!
I had a scan at 35+5 and they estimated 6lb 11. She was born at 36+5 weighing 6lb 11. It largely depends on position of baby and how active they were during the scan and how good the person is that was performing the scan. At 38 weeks there isn’t much room in there so could be a bit off but probably not too much. They usually say it can be 25% either way
36+3 growth scan they said he was estimating 5lb 2oz, born 37+3 5lb 14oz x
Mine was pretty accurate, actually my baby was bigger than estimated! They estimated him to be 4kg at 40 weeks but he was 4.420kg at 40+3
Told he would be 4,11 and came out 7lbs 3 😂
I got told he was going to be small and no bigger than 5lb 4 days later he was born 7lb 10
Mine was exactly correct - 2.2kg! I did have a very careful doctor as my baby suddenly slipped to very low percentiles. I wonder if they were extra careful in getting good measurements.
I had a scan at 39+6 and was told he was 7lb 1oz so they wanted to induce me. I trusted my gut, and he came weighing 8lb 8oz! Xxx
Said my baby would be 9lbs born had her at 39+6 and she was 7lbs 1oz
Our baby boy measured 9lbs 2 on the Monday and was born 9lbs 10 on the Thursday at 39 weeks xxx
At 38+1 he was estimated 7lb 9oz and I had a section at 39+2 and he weighed 7lb 12oz so pretty accurate x
inaccurate. was told 10lb+ lol but gave birth at 8lb at 40 weeks.
Was inaccurate!! They said he would be a lot larger, but he was tiny (6lb 3) but my friend also had it the other way around where they said her son would be smaller but he was larger x
