C section pain

After my section I had a lot of hard lumps around my stomach which I kept getting told was soft tissue and most of it will go away but most people end up having a bit at the bottom of their shelf that doesn’t budge but I’ve still got a lot of it all over and my stomach is still sore to touch 6 months pp. My incision itself has healed beautifully it’s my stomach it’s numb and sore to touch but I keep getting told it’s normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

I experienced this after my C-Section ( I’m only 3m pp) around my scar and it ended up being an infection (think it was an abcess inside wound that got infected) . I would maybe request an ultrasound to see if there’s any fluid build up as it could be that. Make sure you push the doctors for it as I know that doctors can just push aside some things that we go through/pain we have and it neglects us women who have gone through a major surgery to bring our children into this world.

I actually had an abcess 3 months ago and the infection couldn’t make its way out my incision as the antibiotics closed the gaps so it caused a lump on my stomach that ended up popping and the infection came out and I got hospitalised with iv antibiotics and they did do a ultrasound and said I was fine even tho I could barely move so I wonder if maybe that’s caused a bigger issue. I’ll phone the gp Monday to get seen

I was hospitalised twice with mine and yeah if you couldn’t move it could have caused a bigger issue inside of you
