Early Reassurance Scan

I had my early scan today - thought I was 6+1 but I was actually measuring 5+3. Gestational sac, yolk sac and a very small sign of an embryo could be seen but no heartbeat as of yet! I have to return in 2 weeks! It’s going to be a long 2 weeks of waiting!!!! 😩🤣 this is our rainbow baby and our last pregnancy we ended up with a blighted ovum so to see something this time around is so reassuring! Anyone out there who’s been in this similar situation ?

Sending you lots of love! But I was in the same boat at 6 weeks! Just took a lot of care of myself, kept up with my vitamins, drink plenty, didn’t strain myself etc. I’m now on twenty weeks. Sending you lots of positive rainbow energy xxx

I had my private scan at 5+3 and it looked pretty much the same. I have another scan on Tuesday so hopefully it will have grown as I should be 8+3 then

I had a scan at 5 weeks which showed a sack and what looked like a shadow or clot nearly no heartbeat. 2 weeks later we saw two clear sacks two viable heartbeats - both of which are currently climbing over me refusing bedtime our rainbow boys. Good luck xx

I was very much in the same boat, went back for 3 scans - first there was nothing, second there was a sac, third around 6+5w there was a little heart beat! Crazy few weeks! X

I had this, I wasn't as far along as I thought so no heartbeat yet and I had to go back 2 weeks later. My LO is now 17 months old 😊 🤞 for your rainbow baby

Girl I feel you! I had 2 unsuccessful pregnancies before my rainbow baby and went through exactly the same thing. Please keep yourself busy and you mind busy. Make sure vitamins are taken. This scan looks exactly how my last successful baby did. Didn’t show heartbeat till 6 weeks 💖 keeping positivity and sending positive vibes too xxxx
