Lower back pain postpartum

Is anyone else having severe lower back pain postpartum? My daughter just turned 7 months old and it feels like my lower back pain is getting worst and worst every lady I didn’t have this before my baby. Could it be because I took the epidural? At some point I was cramping too i thought that was either my period or I’m pregnant again so I took a test and it was negative and I still haven’t had m my period. I’m scared because i can’t spent the rest of my life with this pain

I have it too and I’m 8 months pp I feel it’s from the epidural as sometimes it feels like a shooting pain from my lower back right up to the spot of the catheter on my back

Exactly! Do you take anything for it?

I do. I think it’s d epidural too. I started physical therapy and chiropractor

Is the physical therapy and chiropractor helping? I’ve been thinking about getting a consult with a chiropractor too

I have a heating pad that really helps at the end of the day. I try to do the physical therapy exercise somehow. The pain only gets worse and gynecologist will prescribe painkillers which will only shorter affect. We need to strengthen our upper and lower side to match up our sons/ daughters weight.

I dont like chiropractor. It looked like a glorified massage parlor. I m looking for another one now

That good to know I’ll try the heating pad That’s why don’t want to start taking painkillers too, I need a long term solution

Sciatica started this month. I take painkillers when it’s too much.

It may also be from carrying baby around/lifting them. Try to use proper posture as much as you can - squatting to lift yourself instead of bending over, making sure your change table is high enough, etc
