Behaviour help
Hi, i have a now 4 year old boy (was born at 34+4) im having some behavioural difficulties with him and he has a major lack of understanding/no sense of danger, and multiple other problems that i have picked up on/noticed. Does anyone have any similar experiences and could advise on what to do/how best to handle this? We had the health visitor out a few days ago but they werent overly helpful, just said if we think hes younger than his age then to speak to him as though hes that age and just to really focus on the positives and what we want him to be doing but did also say she would try to get him referred to paediatrics
My son is the same . Have you only noticed now ? I have noticed since he was 9 months 😂 he was already walking well more running than walking . He has no patience , can’t sit still even when eating or watching TV . Constantly on the move , no interests in anything and if interested only for a week then it’s over . Short attention span , lots of biting till he was 3 , no sense of danger . But he is very very smart , got amazing memory , very loving and polite. We have been speaking to HV about adhd but she said we have to wait till he is 6
