Does anyone else feel lonely?

That community is missing and so needed. Plus i find that i suck at this app bc its mostly texting and i rather phone calls.

@Mikala I find it so hard as well because I don’t know people have texted me and it seems to be they text for a bit and then all of a sudden nothing and you send them your number no effort I’m like you messaged me and wanted to be friends and now I send you my what’s app that’s it!? Where does the loyalty start?😔😔

Hi @Erika-Jayde and @Mikala, I couldn't help but see this post and feel what you were both saying. I have found that being a mother is one of the most beautiful things, and yet it can be lonely at times. With this app, I found it to be just what we needed as a community, but I think it can be difficult checking in on it as it doesn't always notify you either, does it. That and I find some people drift in and out of messages. Anyhow, always round if you'd like to chat! ^_^ x

I’ve had to really put myself out there so I’m not lonely…coming from an introverted nerd as a teen always home reading books and studying, being a mum made me an extrovert. Go out to baby groups mum groups, join a hobby/class, reach out on here I’ve had luck on here also. But we need to go where other mums go to meet them and to find a friend. Anyways good luck Xx

Yeah I get that. I think for me it be nice to find solo mums as they get what's it's like to literally have no one. But everyone seems coupled up, are miles away ha

I've always been antisocial. No social media, no friends. I'm happy with just my husband and children. Never felt the need for social interaction much 🤷 I tolerate his close relationship with his family though and spend some time w them but not my own.

I literally downloaded this app to find friends and I have 0 still and have not made any connections yet 😩😩😩😩

I feel distant with my old friends but I have made some new mom friends and a really cool one on peanut. It's worth a try to make a post about wanting to make mom friends in your area
