Normal early pregnancy symptoms?

Hello! I’m 12 dpo today and decided to test and to my surprise got a positive. I’m having mild cramping (like pressure almost) in my pelvic area and pinching in my lower abdomen. Is that normal? Thanks!

Yes, I would say so. It’s probably from implantation. I had lots of cramping in the very early weeks on pregnancy and even before I knew. Kind of felt like period cramps but also different. You can ask your doctor if it makes you feel better but I would say it’s pretty normal.

Yeah it’s normal iv just found out I’m pregnant with my second which I shocked because the cramps I was having I would of thought I was comming on my period but then I got positive test I’m 8 weeks now and still get the odd crap and twing congratulations by the way xx

I was having really bad period type cramping, so I was convinced my period was on its way, but a week later nothing but pain so I did a test and it was positive! The cramping lasted up until about 6 weeks and felt just like period pains, I’m almost 17 weeks now and all good so far ☺️

Congratulations 🥳

Thank you all so much for the feedback!!

congrats x

Hey maybe she is having twins too! Hers looks pretty dark! Just saying 😝 congrats & I'd say it's normal! I'm 18+4 & experiencing cramping for the last 2 weeks. The assured me I'm fine 🤷‍♀️ as long as there is no blood or severe pain!

Currently experiencing this I’m at 8+3 and each day that passes at this point the more tired I get

I had no bleeding but the sickness and tiredness my god I never felt so drained in my life

Totally normal! I had cramping and back pain and thought my period was coming. Did a pregnancy test just in case and to my surprise it was positive! All ended up being fine and now I have a healthy little girl 😊

Sounds normal, I also had these aches and pains early on

Totally normal!!!

It’s normal. Im 27 weeks pregnant and had the same. As long as there’s no bleeding and it doesn’t become unbearable you’re good

Thank you! And congrats!

Yes, that is normal, it’s your uterus growing for the baby...just as long as you don’t have heavy bleeding you should be fine! Congratulations

Thank you! I’m 4 weeks also! Congrats to you!

yeah I was adamant I was gonna come on my period due to cramps but then found out I was pregnant, congratulations!

That’s exactly how I felt! Thank you!

First trimester I felt period like cramps all the time!

Totally normal. Congrats ❤️

Totally normal, you might experience some light bleeding and nausea soon

For me it has been. Keep look out for bleeding ( not necessarily spotting because spotting can be normal too). Also st George’s has an epu unit in the Loughborough wing where you can get an early scan if you are worried.

Congrats! How was the scan? I have to wait for another week! Seems so long!

Thank you! I’m actually in the USA, but I did have an early scan and everything is fine!

I had this too, and it was always on the left side. Found out at my scan the baby/placenta is positioned on the left so that must be why it was so much worse on that side! 😊

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I'm having the same symptoms

Yes definitely normal just make sure to drink a lot of water! Congratulations!

I had it too and drank tons of water. It's so exciting.

Omg twins!! ❤❤ how's your pregnancy going?!

It is quite normal! All my friends and me that were pregnant experienced it throughout pregnancy. It is one of the normal symptoms of pregnancy. Now some women don't experience this, but it is def normal.

I’m having this too atm pinching feeling on alternate sides at different points in the day on and off. I’ve had a bit of pink discharge as well when I checked my cervix position 🤞🏻

Congratulations!! And very normal!

At 12DPO I was just having little twinges. But now I’m 6 weeks I have food aversions to almost everything except chips. 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes, it's completely normal! Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! Yes I had those feelings as well, definitely normal :)

I wouldn’t worry if there isn’t any other symptoms like spotting/bleeding. I’d say if you haven’t already get on those prenatal vitamins and start drinking that water! Congratulations!!!!

Had sex on sep 6th never remember lmp dates kept doing home tests 2 days after then 5 nothing positive then after 12 days this bleeding occurred same light pinching dark brown very light slight cramping pinching

I got some but if they become too painful GO TO THE HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY. Don’t wait to see your OB, if your pain goes over 4, hospital ASAP

Yep! Congrats momma!!!

Yes normal, but if you don’t know how far along you are in the pregnancy I’d go to your OB so they can tell you where you’re at & you can know all the symptoms during that specific week/time of pregnancy.

It’s normal or can be implantation cramping x

Congratulations!! 💕 those are completely normal symptoms.

Congrats

Yes it is normal in early pregnancy but if you're worried then call up x

That’s a strong positive!😻💗💗 congratulations well, you have to think, there is growing and developing another life inside your body. It’s normal to feel some things. Although if you are bleeding or massive pain, rush to hospital ❤️❤️💗

Congratulations! Yes its usually normal but watch for bleeding. Drink more water.

I had that in the first week when I found out I was pregnant too I'm going into my 7th week of pregnancy and I do still get the mild cramping at the back of my lower back throughout the day.

I just found out I’m pregnant and am almost 8 weeks according to my LMP. I’m not experiencing many symptoms other than some cramping and back pain. And sometimes wanting to eat something, starting to eat and it doesn’t taste right 😂

Hiya I’m 4 weeks now But I was getting that pinching, sharp pain and stretching pain from 2 weeks. It’s settled now I’ve completely forgotten if my other pregnancies had this early on But it was shocking as baby is a sesame seed. How can we be having round ligament pain at this stage
