Big kid bike (trike)

Has anyone got a big kid bike for their December22 toddler? Our daughter has a balance bike but she is not really interested in it. I thought maybe a bike with wheels on the side would be better choice as I’ve seen some 3 years old riding something similar no problem

Grieving my BF journey

Hi all I guess I just want to use this space to vent/clear my head. My little boy is 12 weeks now and I had to fully stop breastfeeding around 10 weeks (for couple reasons) and I just feel like I’m grieving the fact I cant BF anymore. I think about it all the time, get jealous when I see other Mums out and about...

Separation anxiety tips? Burn out tips?

My son is almost 13 months and he has super bad separation anxiety from me. I can’t even shower without him scream crying. When I shower my husband is with him and my son just cries outside of the bathroom door. He will fuss when my husband leaves the room for a couple minutes and then be fine, but when I leave the ...

How do you know when your LO is ready to potty train? My son has recently started crying whenever he does a poo in his nappy and runs to his changing mat. He will also say when he’s doing or done a poo (not before). Is there extra things I should look for him doing as a sign of readiness? He still has heavy wet napp...

Relationships

Is anyone else's relationship struggling? Me and my partner are constantly at each other's throats, barely getting on and feeling exacerbated being the 'default' parent who has to think of everything!

Lost the joy in being a parent

My twins are almost 5 years old, and I have lost joy in being a parent. I miss my previous life so much sometimes , the constant fighting between both of them and one of them is so mean, and the other cries for the simplest of things. They don't listen half the time, so I have to keep repeating myself. Bedtime is ...

I've missed the deadline to get a specialized bike for my kids. We could modify a regular bike but it could be costly. Is it worth it to do or should we wait until next year to get the specialized bike?

They have been doing some bike riding at school with their PT but we have not bought them bikes in the past due to safety issues.

Inconsistent Solid Feeding

Long story short, my husband has been staying home with my son while I went back to work after maternity leave and he has been job hunting. Baby boy is on solids and formula now but when I go to work 4 days of the week, my husband isn’t good at giving the solids so my son only eats a solid meal at dinner when I come...

Teething and chewing fingers

My five month in chews his fingers when he’s teething and we have teething toys but he prefers his hands. My father in law saw this and told us not to let him do this as he will get “funny fingers”. Do we really need to worry about that?
