Just a rant

SD mum has not seen her for two months, and has been uninterested in any arrangements surrounding SD since she moved in 9 months ago. She pays nothing towards her, and it isn’t worth going to CSA because she doesn’t declare her earnings. She speaks to SD once a week, sometimes not at all for weeks at a time and is ...

Breakfast ideas

Really struggling with breakfast for my 8month old. He refuses porridge, weetabix & eggs. I've tried various French toast recipes but again not interested. The only food I can get him to consistently eat is yoghurt, fruit & banana pancakes but I feel like I need to be offering some diversity in his diet! I'd welcome...

I have two children. My first born daughter, the sweetest, most understanding, funniest child I’ve ever met. She made me think children were simple and easy. Then came my son, made at the worst point in my life. I had a stroke, because of an avm, miraculously made it through. My husband saved my life. I came home fr...

Partner not ‘helping’

I need some honest advice from other mums—please no judgment. I’m a stay-at-home mum with a toddler and an 8-week-old. My partner is currently off work but refuses to help with night feeds or childcare. I’ve asked for basic things like a 4am feed or just time to shower, and he says no. He gets to come and go as he ...

5 year old sitting in dad’s truck, in the front seat with no car seat. Dad moves the car back and forward slowly in the parking spot. This happened in a full public parking lot in front of a store. In laws visit

My in-laws are coming over this weekend, and I’m already feeling anxious about it. Whenever they visit, I end up completely drained. They usually stay from 10 in the morning until 9 at night, and it really throws off my baby’s sleep schedule because his naps get interrupted. Honestly, I dread these visits. I feel to...
