My 19 month old is such a fussy eater! Will only eat a sandwich at dinner - which she’s now refusing and at tea time will only have certain meals aswell. We’ve tried new meals but she throws it and goes to bed hungry. Does anyone have any advice or even going through the same thing? Feel like I’m going insane!
When they’re in one of those ‘I won’t eat anyhing’ moods so you just offer a bit of everything and hope for the best 😂 Spinach, kale & cream cheese pasta Homemade white bread fingers Grapes Veggie straws Pear slices Wish me luck 🙏
Do you think it’s abuse if you’re forcing a vegan or veggie diet on your babies? I’ve had this debate a couple times. My baby is only 8 months but she eats everything. Steak, chicken all her veggies and fruit. Vegan diets shouldn’t be forced upon babies.
I'm incredibly interested in meal prepping a lot of Chinese foods for postpartum, as I've read warming foods are super good for circulation, milk production and body replenishment. I'm a fairly competent cook with a few Chinese supermarkets nearby, and was just wondering if anyone had any resources or recipes they'd...
Hello, can you please share photos of your toddlers plates? We follow a vege diet. My little man is in a very picky stage.
She literally refuses to be fed now without some form of entertainment - be it someone talking to her (not the person feeding her), something in her hand to look and toy with, or Ms Rachel 😭. It’ll be 3-4 of the 5 feeds in the day where she does this. Idk if it’s because she’s a little poorly but she was doing this…
I feel like I'm giving the same meal on rotation.
Our baby is spoon fed with puréed foods at the moment. She hasn’t got any teeth and she was born a bit early and she’s always run roughly a month behind with everything so it’s what I was most comfortable with. She’s shown a little interest in holding the spoon, however now it’s more like she just wants play with it...
I've not started yet, and we're going away for a week over Easter. Baby boy will be nearly 6.5 months by then. I assume it's OK to wait until we're home to start? I keep reading about babies NEEDING solid food by 6 months 🤷🏼♀️ P.S. He can sit OK in his high chair, but his tongue thrust is definitely still there.…
Does anyone else’s baby want more food than usual? My boy is five months + one week and it seems like he’s cluster feeding again. 👀
Does anyone have any ideas on recipes that don’t include chicken or milk, but we could all eat the same meal? I have a husband with an allergy to poultry & I have a 2.5 year old little with an allergy to milk. Greatly looking for things we can all eat as a family without making a bunch of separate dishes 🫠 Thank…
Hey mommas! My beautiful daughter is 8 months old now and we’re still doing baby food at meal times. She’s a good eater, but doesn’t seem to understand the concept of feeding herself (I’ve given her strawberries to gnaw on to see if we can get the party started.) I really want to start giving munchkin foods that sh...
what’s the best food to have at a one year old’s birthday party that is easy and affordable but also yummy lol
I've been sick for the last three days (got it from my son, again). He's just starting to get his appetite back so I made him all his favourites. Chicken-saur-suars (dino nuggies) Homemade mac n cheese leftovers Peas and corn. Waiting for my husband to come home to cut up kiwi (I'm severely allergic)
How is everyone managing to feed baby 3 meals a day (solids)? Since we dropped to 2 naps it's getting hard to find enough time to do 3 meals as lunch and dinner would be so close together. Also not forgetting bottles in between. And some people even incorporate snacks! I feel like there's just not enough time, or b...
This might be a silly question, but with baby-led weaning being a thing, do people still puree veggies and fruits for their babies? I'm an FTM, and my LO is almost 5 months old, so we'll be introducing solids in the near future, and I'm just curious. I never see people talk about pureeing foods anymore.
Seen loads of Qs on here about weaning worries for our 6 month olds - I think too many of you are worrying about nothing, I don’t mean this in a horrible way. I mean, you’re worrying that baby won’t get the jist of weaning, of purées of solids etc but in reality they are only just being introduced to it. They have ...
Anybody else have an 11 month old (or close to) who just doesn’t want to eat anymore? We got past purées into bite sized pieces and self feeding. And now I. The last two weeks she won’t eat anything anymore. Only her bottle. I know it could be teething but two weeks? Should I be worried?
Me and my husband have quite a different taste in foods. I'm more into veggies, curries, soups etc whereas he prefers chicken, meat, rice. We both like salads, pasta, fish and all the usual junk food 😅 It makes it quite hard to eat the same meals and we usually end up just making our own dinners. Anyone else in a…
I have a 10 month old and I’m just struggling with her lunch and dinner meals, I have a 2.5 year old so I’ve done it before but I just don’t have as much time now as I’m back working too, she’s a little fussy but always tries new things, I try give her what I eat when I can but a lot is spicy food or just things she...
