Kind of a long post so if you read it all and respond thank you 😩 so I want to know people opinions on this…. Bit of back ground, I’m a single mum living at my parents, trying to get my own place but council are cr*p! also I dont move in the night so don’t come at me for Co-sleeping! Ok so my LG is breast fed…
Im currently doing some reading into wake windows as I’ll be honest, up until now I’ve been fully winging this! But sleep has become a big problem so I’m trying to get a bit of a schedule together. I’ve read that ideally I should be aiming for 2.5-3.5 hours of sleep during the day across either 3/4 naps, but my litt...
Hi ladies So my 11 week old baby has started going down to bed at like 9.30pm-10pm and then doesn't wake up till 5am. He is exclusively breastfed, he is piling the weight on and weights nearly 13lb so he is doing really well. He feeds alot throughout the day but im just worried that maybe I should be waking him to ...
Is anyone still doing shifts with their partner or has anyone moved away from it?! Any tips/thoughts/experiences? My husband still has our 9 week old baby downstairs from around 9-12 every night so I can sleep. He has a bottle during that chunk but is otherwise breastfed. Baby’s sleep isn’t great so this is the onl...
I’ve seen a lot of people saying their baby wakes up at 7am. My LO wakes up between 8:30-9am. I feel very grateful that I get to sleep in that long but I’m thinking I should probably set an alarm to wake up earlier to prepare for nursery in the new year. Also struggling to get all bottles done throughout the day as ...
How is everyone currently putting their little ones to sleep? I’m feeling so overwhelmed with what is safe. Our little girl was great in the next to me the first night but wouldn’t go down in it the next so we switched to the Moses basket with a cellular blanket right at the bottom (feet to bed of course) but I’ve g...
My LG is 9 weeks old and has developed a preference for lying on one side. I've noticed she's starting to get a slightly misshapen head as a result although friends and family have said they wouldn't notice unless id pointed it out. I'm worried about it getting worse / not going away as she gets older. Does anyone h...
My LO doesn’t have a bedtime routine per se.. usually falls asleep cuddled up to me on the sofa and we carry him to bed and put him in his cot but lately he wakes up screaming when we carry him up and won’t settled back down.
Baby has nearly grown out of Moses basket , I’ve got a next to me crib but it is to big. I got very little space what is best cot or cribs for small spaces ?
Just wondered if any EBF babies sleep well at night? Any tricks?
My little girl has always been a rubbish sleeper...... but got to a comfortable point for a couple of weeks, she was waking every 3 hours which was amazing for her. But now she's waking every 40-60 minutes.... and has been for a week and a half. I'm exhausted, anyone else going through similar? She'll just scream un...
My LO screams the house down when he is trying to sleep, is that normal or is there an underlying issue I should look into?
my little one is sleeping 7/8 hours now through the night and I’m waking up absolutely soaking, when will my body regulate or will it not? I have no idea about breastfeeding, absolutely winging it. she’s 9 weeks old, tia
Has anyone else’s little one dropped their nap in the day completely yet? My little boy is 19 months old (20 months on 01/01/2024) and he still has a nap after lunch time at the moment but yesterday and the day before he didn’t nap (we had family over and he just didn’t want to) and he went to sleep instantly at be...
Has anyone managed to get through the regression without any sleep training? Is it possible that babies just learn to link their sleep cycles?
At what age were your babies sleeping in their own room?
My LO is 8 weeks old and has started sleeping for at least 7/8 hours in one stretch the past few nights. Should I still be waking her up to feed every 3/4 hours like I used to do or is it alright to just let her sleep until she wakes up at this age? She has been gaining weight well and is over 10lb now.
My LO has always gone into his cot awake and fallen asleep independently or with a little help of a little pat on the bum, he then has woken multiple times in a night. However recently the only way I can get him to sleep is to now cuddle and rock him to sleep. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this just a phase?
Just looking for a bit of advice. My son is nearly 18 months old and he is still cuddled to sleep each night. We go downstairs to his room, and we sit on his rocking chair where I cuddle him to sleep before transferring him to his cot. I am due our second baby in May and I’m getting worried about how I’ll manage on ...
Is anyone taking their own crib sheets with them? If so, what kind? I know they only provided blue paper roll last time I gave birth.
