Advice on nap schedule?

Hello! I am debating if I should give my 5 month old a 4th nap or just skip it and go straight to bed time. Is there any harm in that? What do you all do? This is a sample of his schedule (for example today) 10 am - 11 am (Awake) 11 am - 12 pm (Nap 1) 12 pm - 2:30 pm (Awake) 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm (Nap 2) 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm (Awake) 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm (Nap 3) …now if I give a 4th nap, it’ll be too late, it would be 8:30 - 9:30 pm, then his bedtime is always 3.5 hours after he wakes up from his last nap, meaning he will sleep at 1 am😣 versus skipping it, this means his bedtime would be 10 pm which is fine, but is he missing out on any sleep? It’s always hard to keep him up those last 3.5 hours, because he starts to get sleepy after 2 hours of being awake but if I let him sleep it turns out to be a nap😞.

Hi our baby just recently cut out that 4th nap. It was a shorter nap, like 30-45 min then eventually we stopped. Now her last wake time is 3.5 hours before sleeping for the night. Maybe try shortening the 4th nap before stopping? I think about 10 hours overnight is recommended for sleeping.

@Angelica thank you!🙏

He wakes at 10am? We give our baby a 10-12 hour window depending on naps. He usually sleeps 6:30pm - 6:30am. So around 10pm sounds reasonable for you or slightly earlier if it leads to night sleep still. I hear naps are more predictable at 6 months so we are almost there!
