C Section Mama's Support Group

Hiya! I'm looking for some mommy friends on here to talk to and have conversations with! Any first time c-section mamas on here that I can talk to about my first time momma journey with? Can anyone relate to having a c-section?

I’m currently pretty set on having an elective c section with my first baby - not due to any medical reasons but down to fear of the trauma of vaginal delivery and the unknown that comes with it. Wanted to hear from other mums that are doing the same or have already had and their experiences?

I'm due to have an elective c-section at 39 weeks and I'm wondering when I will be given the exact date I will be booked in for ... when was everyone else told when they would be booked in?

Anyone else clean their scar and it feels like tag pins (barbs)? It’s only on one side of my scar.

I’ve been having burning feelings and constantly sweaty after my c-section. My scar is tender and burns but isn’t red or anything. Postpartum diapers and pads feel like sandpaper and cause me to itch. Any advice on what to do would be amazing. This is the first time I’ve ever had a c-section, my first baby was born vaginally. I am 5 days postpartum. Sharing a photo of my scar.
