SAHMs

I’m self employed and returned to work months ago (only part time) but genuinely just curious how SAHMs manage on just their partners salary to pay for mortgage/bills? Do you rely on savings or just very careful with money?

I'm not sure if it will help or hinder my job search. I'm currently 8 months pp. Can anyone share their experience please? Thank you.
