Yes had on my tummy
@Kelly I have no idea what those mean Lol
@Lauren hmm mine has been numb for a while! hopefully nothing to be concerned about. I’ve reached out to my nurse to be sure!
@Brittany hahhaha it's kinda hard to explain exactly where it is. Ventral gluteal is above your ball and socket joint of your hip and below the back top of your pelvis ... the meaty part. Before, anywhere in your glute was ok, but you could hit your sciatic nerve. So areas of administration slightly changed. The vastus lateralis is ... if you draw an imaginary tic tac toe board on your thigh, it's the middle outer box where you would administer the shot. You can do an IM injection in your deltoid too, but I would not wanna deal with that sore arm every day 😂 I'm sure you just hit a nerve, but I saw you said you told your nurse which is always the safest thing to do! Especially since it's lasted a while. I wish you all the luck because these shots suck 😅
@Kelly okay so we definitely go in the outer top quadrant like they tell us to do (splitting it into four and then the top outer quadrant in four again and going to the outside of that also) that’s where it’s numb! But the feeling seems to be coming back! I’ve had some big knots so we’ve had to move around a little bit but still staying in that general area! They are no fun at all but I’m getting through it! I don’t get knots too often now thank god! Lots of massaging and rolling! Lol
@Brittany ugh I get those knots too. They feel like a pimple is forming 😂😂 I'm glad the feeling is starting to come back tho lol that can be a little scary
You could have hit a nerve. Are you administering it in the ventral gluteal or the vastus lateralis?
