When I was in labor I didn't care. When you're that far down the road you just want the baby out and you want to push. With my first I had about 12 people in the room... didn't care. With my second I had 3 people in the room... also didn't care. After the baby is out just focused on them. Nothing else in the room mattered.
I had my baby when I was 20, having people checking me for dilation, breaking my waters and basically just being so close to my privates made me feel nervous and stressed but because I had so many different people checking me I stopped caring after a while.
@Toni I'll be 21 two months after I birth my daughter and it's my first but I've always hated having people up in my vag. Im hoping I can not be as nervous about it. Does it matter if I'm shaved or not
Yeah. I couldn’t have cared less at the time.
@Kira My fiancé was the only one to have ever seen my vag before having my daughter so I was super anxious with all the random people seeing it. I made sure I had shaven beforehand but im not one to grow out the hair anyway. However they've seen all different shapes, sizes and amounts of hair before so they won't care what it looks like, so it's up to you and what you're comfortable with.
It’s all good lol!! You’re in too much pain to care or else if you get the epidural you just wanna meet your baby.
The first few cervical checks were a bit awkward but after a while of contractions you’re just gonna be annoyed and ready to push
@Kira It doesn't matter if your shaved or not. The doctors don't care. Just to let you know - you're probably gonna poop while youre pushing. You can't really control it. I had no idea it even happened until my husband told me I did.
No you don’t even care once you’re in active labor you’re gunna be more focused on controlling the pain
