Dr Martens sandals squeak

I bought myself new dr martens sandals, model blaire. This is my second pair, I returned first ones because they were squeaking when I walk, and now I have the same issue with second pair, although it is much less noticeable now, and only on left one. Is that normal, do they just need to break in and it will go away? Is there anything I can do to make it go away. Any advice and experience welcome :) tnx

I don’t have docs but I’ve always squeaked in my Nikes. Never wears away. Some shoes just make noise I think

@Sarah I find it very annoying 🙈🙈 And I really like them, I don't want to return them either🫠

I’ve got a few pairs of doc and have them all for a few years, even my oldest pair still squeak now 😂I think it’s just something that comes with the shoes. Anything that’s leather always comes squeaky because it’s not worn in.

I have them but not shiny and they don’t squeak , could be the material

I have them and I found that using stretching spray helped with my squeak (I work for Schuh so any other shoe related questions fire them my way 🤣)

@Amy Rebecca where did you spray it? This is coming from inside the sole... at the front.

@Tea I just sprayed the entire thing, in the sole and on the straps

It’ll go away when they break in, if they want to break in.. also you got the patent. Patents a squeaker. Sounds daft, leave them in rain for an hour. It’ll ‘relax’ them a little. Then wear socks in the house with them. I have these obese in leather.. still trying to break them in.
