Alpro growing up milk

I’m sure I seen some posts on here not so long ago about people been told to try alpro growing up milk with babies suffering with wind/gas with added vitamins but cannot see anything now. Has anybody else done this before their babies turned one via advice?

I haven't yet or for those reasons but our dietician wants us to start using it so he gets used to the taste before he's 1 and we can wean off the nutramigen as our NHS trust won't prescribe past 12 months and our son's got a couple allergies so she wants him weaned off formula before we tackle the gluten and wheat ladder so I don't have to do both at the same time.

We plan on using the Asda oat milk with added iodine and calcium as per her suggestion for cheaper on our pockets while he could be wasting it

And how old will your son be when you start doing this please? :)

We were ready to start the milk ladder immediately after our consultation last week and start introducing the milk at the same time but he's now poorly so we need to wait for him to feel better before we start. I was advised to start using it in his foods rather than the nutramigen and to start giving a few Oz a day to get him used to the taste before swapping for one full bottle at 12 months then gradually dropping them over a few weeks so he's on two bottles of oat milk a day

Oh and he's 10 months on the 15th x
