Did anyone else experience this after a membrane sweep?
I just had a membrane sweep done yesterday. A few hours later, my contractions started getting stronger and I've been getting lower abdominal, pelvic, lower back, and anal pain with each contraction. This pain has been significant and abdominal contraction pain ranges from mild to moderate/severe. My contractions are ranging from every 6-14 minutes, with the more moderate/severe ones every 12-14 minutes. Is this normal? Is it a mix of cramping with regular contractions? I'm torn if I should just go to L&D. Any advice?

Not sure I’m currently getting membrane sweep today but when I had membrane sweep with my first born I cramped after and for a day or so was on and off cramping and then my water broke, if it’s getting really intense I say call you L&D to see should go in

Thanks everyone! Decided to go in and turned out they were contractions after all. Was 5 cm dilated upon arrival and 3 hours later my baby girl was born. I'm still in shock by how quickly she came
