Blood cloths after giving birth

Hi! I’m 2 weeks postpartum. And tonight when I went to toilet there was a big blood cloth and my period is stronger this time than weeks ago. Is it concerning?

If it’s a big blood clot I would ring your maternity ward to discuss it

R you on breast feeding?

I had a huge one randomly about 3 weeks pp, like it scared me how big it was, was maybe half the size of a square of toilet roll! I had pretty much stopped bleeding up till then as well so was a shock to see! Had a few more, but got smaller every time, and then stopped! Deffo get checked out if you're worried though !

I'm also 2 week postpartum I got little two clots when I was 1 week and 4 days but my midwife said it's normal for the women who are breast feeding

@Faiza yes I am

@Ellie we’re you okay?

@Faiza ohh okay. I was worried when I saw it.

@Sophie i will contact them tomorrow xx

Hiii, I had blood clots with my first, I was told if they were bigger than a plum and if I was soaking pads regularly then it was a concern. A stronger period is normal after birth. I remember waking up one morning and starting my period, I stood up and blood just gushed everywhere down my legs 😭 but if you have any concerns and just want to put yourself at ease then just phone the ward or a health visitor just to make sure xxx congrats on the little one ❤️ hope you are all well

@Meggan thank you ☺️

@Christine yes!!! But saying that they never did a 6 week check and I still haven't been seen 6 months later.ive had one period and have a little pain and pressure feelings down there. But overall I feel ok
