Why can’t you let baby sleep in bouncer?

My baby is two months old and is mostly fine but refuses to sleep on his back during the day. Night time is fine as he has a Next2Me and I think the comfort of me being so close to him helps however during the day he barely naps and when he does will only be on me or in his bouncer. Why is it so bad if I allow this to happen so I can get some time to myself or get on with housework? He is always supervised.

Asphyxiation - not worth the risk in my opinion. It can happen very quickly and unnoticed x

positional asphyxiation - worth a read up. May be worth investing in a sling to wear baby whilst you do housework x

Can occlude their airway if their chin drops towards their chest, stopping them from breathing
