Lavender and tea tree is a great natural repellant

Bring a misquote net! They’re light and take up little space and will be the most affective. There are some hiking carriers with a cross bar that help keep the net away from baby’s face. You can get pretty creative with them and you set up!

You can look on ewg for ewg gerified products those are products that have zero ingredients that cause harm. We mainly use barrier clothing and burn incense at our camp site. I plant citronella plants at home so i clip some and bring it with us when we camp and just rub my hands on it and spread the oils on the kids exposed skin. Or i carry lemongrass tea tree blend with me.
