@Charley apparently helps to thicken the lining, more follicles, more e2 thicker lining!
Why do you need more follicles though as you're not trying to collect any eggs? I took oestrogen to thicken the lining and it worked really well
As Charley said you wouldn’t be collecting eggs for a frozen transfer?
Not Stims but Estrogen tablets to make the lining thick.
Both my fet cycles have been medicated with eostrogen tablets and progesterone suppositories it helps to thicken the lining and prevent the ovaries from ovulating during that cycle.
I’ve done this- it was called ‘super-ovulation’. It’s like having a fresh cycle but don’t collect eggs and can use PGT tested embryos. I had it as I didn’t seem to respond to oestrogen tablets or patches but do seem to respond better to my own oestrogen you make naturally when you have stimulation with meriofert/menopur etc. It helped with my lining but not had a bfp yet. Feel free to message if helpful 🙂
Thank you Helena that’s exactly what my doctor said, it creates more natural estrogen rather than taking a estrogen tablet
@Charley the more follicles you have growing the more estrogen they give off which means more natural estrogen rather than taking synthetic estrogen! Estrogen is what causes your lining to grow, more natural estrogen= a thicker endometrium
@Abbi the more follicles you have growing the more estrogen they give off which means more natural estrogen rather than taking synthetic estrogen! Estrogen is what causes your lining to grow, more natural estrogen= a thicker endometrium

Ah right I get the idea, personally I'd want to avoid stims again as I had OHSS last time so it wouldn't be a protocol suitable for me.
@Charley that’s why my post was seeking for those that had done the protocol!
I've not heard of taking stims for FET? What's the purpose?
