Everyday Routine

hope this is the right group for this! my son is barely 2 in later august and i’m curious what all of your routines are for your toddlers? people always mention you should have a morning and night routine but i don’t think my son needs a bath every single night and i don’t want to wake him up in the morning if he actually sleeps in

Having a routine is always wonderful to feel like there is some sort of structure to your schedule but my girl just turned 2 last week and these past 2 months has been all over the place so if this helps I got a huge dry erase board and framed it nice and threw it right in my kitchen where it screams at me all day to remind of the at least needed things that need to get accomplished that day. Even if it’s done after the little one goes down. At least it’s done and that weight of “to do’s” is less heavy on you mentally. Hope this helps. It does for me at the moment.

She wakes up like 6:30 am on her own Breakfast berries and a show 7:30 ish a walk 8ish learning time (only last about 15 minutes) and breakfast Then off to our activitie of that day from usually 9-11ish -park -library -hike -play center 11:30 ish lunch 12ish nap 2 pm wakes up 2-4 independent play / together ( usually clean) 4 pm dads home ( everything stops )😂 6 dinner 7 bath then bed She’s sleep by 8 everyday Just turned 2 , been out routine for months! I personally really enjoy my routine, and I trying to never rush if something need to adjust it’s no problem

Then 9 bedtime it changes time to time days we goes for walks or back to play in his pool. I also have a three month old so days where they both are handful but most of the time I blend there times together
