Don’t know how to process this.

This past Saturday we got a biopsy back on my almost 8 year boy saying he has cancer. Today we spent a lot of our day at the oncologist where they definitely confirmed it in his gums and it spread to his lungs. I’m absolutely devastated. This was my husband and I’d first dog. We got him just shy of a few months of living in our first apartment and since we’ve gotten another dog, another cat, gotten married, had a kid and more. I just don’t know what I’d do without him. We’re still waiting on one test to come back about something they saw in his prostate but the doctor didn’t seem too concerned. We were told that most of the time when cancer spreads in a dog there’s almost no curing it. I guess I’m just looking good for some words of encouragement or something. I don’t know. I’m just really upset.

I'm so sorry you didn't get better news 🙁 it's so unfair these little angels have to deal with these issues!!! I'm hoping for the best for your baby!

@Grace thank you for the response.., we just got a call back for his results from the ct scan and there’s 4 different cancer spots. Dogtor said the most he could probably be around is 6 months. We’re going to do what we can to give him the best last bit of life we can.

I'm so sorry 🥺!!! Make lots of incredible memories and take as many photos as your phone storage allows!!! Also, make a paw print ornament! Recipes are online and it's super easy to do!

Hey! So sorry you’re going through this! How much does your dog weigh? I have done lab and actual trials with amazing results for soft tissue cancers in dogs and would love to send you the info!

@Emma he is 54 pounds!!
