Thank you so much I didn't think about putting a carrier bag on the seat I have been trying to swivel and it's been hard I will definitely be popping a carrier bag on there. I'm glad I'm on maternity now as it's just seemed to have gotten worse over the weekend. I am definitely struggling to walk I'm at the consultant tomorrow so was going to mention it my midwife did refer me to physio but as with any waiting list I am still waiting I think baby will be here before I get that letter. Hope yours eases off soon for you how many weeks do you have left? X
I have a section booked for 1st November and it can’t come quick enough!! I had physio when I was living up North (Chester le street) but struggled to get one down here. Honestly, they don’t do much anyway, my Mam had some spare crutches she gave me for when my right leg stops working, but I spend a lot of time lying in bed now so not really much need for them at this stage 😂. Carrying these babies is hard work!!xx
I read somewhere that crunches can help might mention it to the midwife tomorrow. Oh tell me about it no wonder I waiting 14 years to do it again haha xx
I’m the same! Felt as though all of a sudden it got much worse. I’m 38+2 now but had it progressively getting worse since around 20 ish weeks. It’s my first pregnancy and have found that a support belt somewhat helps and good trainers (I invested in new balance 530s as advised by my friend with spd) just extra support as flat soles were also worse. I think it must get worse as baby engages and puts more pressure on pelvis. Everyday we’re a day closer to meeting our babies and one day closer to not having the pain anymore aha x
@Jade yeah I waited nearly 11 years before I’ve done it again, and can CONFIDENTLY say that this little one is my last! Cannot do this again!xx
@Emily I wake up every morning and feel great then go to stand up and think nope it's still there :( they have told me I will be getting induced as baby is showing bigger than they would like so hopefully not too much longer for me. Xx
@Gemma oh yes this is definitely my last one haha if I had this with my first I think he would be a lonely child lol xx
I feel your pain, I suffer really badly with it, can barely walk now and the pain across my pubic bone is next level! I suffered badly with my first 10 years ago and unfortunately it has been worse this time round. Not really got much in the way of tips other than keep on top of paracetamol. There are tricks like getting a square of satin material to make it easier to move in bed… carrier bag on car Seat to be able to swivel better. Just keep legs together as much as you can. First time round, it was better within a couple of weeks of having my little boy (though I have always suffered with a weaker pubic bone since having him), but there is light at the end of the tunnel - just rest as much as you can! Xx
