Anyone else have a baby who is fussy in the stroller and in carriers?

I am a SAHM and my husband just went back to work after 12 weeks (we were so lucky he got so much time!) but now that it’s just me during the day, I am wanting to start experimenting with taking the baby out of the house for my mental health- walks, or grocery trips or whatever would be great. But we go out for a very short walk at least once a day and she ALWAYS cries after about 5 min in the stroller. We have tried in the bassinet stroller and the regular seat reclined, same thing. I’ve tried her in 3 different carriers as well and she cries when she goes in there too. She will sort of tolerate it for a minute if I keep walking but then eventually loses patience with it, and swings her head back the whole time (won’t just rest her head on me). She also won’t take a pacifier, but I just ordered a different brand to try. Anyone else feel trapped in the house as the only option that doesn’t cause mom anxiety and “torture” the baby?

Try to feed her before the walks Maybe she’ll just go to sleep!

You can could try right after a nap.

I'd say timing is key. My baby is very particular about her wake windows and is currently fighting going to sleep unless I'm holding/feeding her in a dark room. I can usually get her to nap in a wrap after a bit of fussing but she won't fall asleep in the stroller anymore

Oh I feel your pain mama! My LO is the exact same and we have tried everything it feels like. We’ve reached the point where we just carry her in our arms for walks because she seems to want to look at things but hates being strapped into anything. She’s almost 15 pounds and I am getting the most arm muscles I’ve ever had while we pray she grows out of this soon.

@Tashina I assure you, I have tried going after a long feed, and still no luck.

@Desiree' we have tried this too.

@Amy thank you! I’m glad I’m not the only one. I just ordered a TushBaby and am hoping to try carrying her with that next to help my arms and back.

Your baby might need body work. Get an evaluation with a Chiropractor!
