I am the same, 28 weeks preggers, have a demanding role at work and struggle to focus. Don’t panic just take it easy, be gentle with yourself. It will all go nack to normal and most people know what we are going theough 🤗. I just keep making jokes about it as work, like saying - hahaha baby brain - cannot find the words, or have lapsus etc. the more I voice it, it out there and I am not worried about it anymore and people are supportive.
Struggling with word recall is my thing too, I’m constantly in conversation with my husband saying ‘the thing, you know’ , he doesn’t know 😂 and sometimes I have to actually describe it. The other day I was trying to ask him to pass me the cool bag I use for the baby food when out and about and all I could get out was ‘the square thing, it’s green, holds the food’ 🤦🏻♀️ I’m also in a senior role at work and was worried about this a lot after my first but it does come back once you get into the swing of things and especially once you’re able to switch off thinking about your little one so often x
I feel exactly the same way. I feel like I can’t string a coherent sentence together and I’m normally a pretty well spoken person. To ease your mind, I just recently had to do more work/school related stuff and it comes back. I think we might just be out of practice and babbling to a baby for month on end lol. The more I talk to other adults the more I sound like my old self again. Once you’re back at it, it’ll all come back! 🙂↕️
