Yep, I’m a qualified safeguarding leader and trainer, they might inform social services as it’s an injury to a young child and they may contact you for a chat or to pop round but I think this usually happens when they present at hospital with an injury more than once, but please don’t worry, they just want to check it was an accident and make sure everyone is safe. As long as they have no other concerns everything will be fine. It’s just their duty to check these things just in case, it’s not about you it’s just ensuring kids are safe, try not to worry xx
Ps hope baby heals up quickly, I bet it was really scary for both of you, sending love xxx
Yeah, it was really scary. I also burned myself on my thighs because the water drip down and I feel awful like because on her arm it blistered straight away and started peeling because she had a T-shirt on but on her chest could’ve been worse because she had two layers and it only peeled a little bit I hope age heals fast good she’s eight months and hasn’t gone to hospital or Docters with any other injuries before
They could make or note or refer them purely because it’s a injury and they would make a note with any however if they do they won’t get you in trouble or think any less they will just pop round check it was an accident and advise safe bottle making x I really wouldn’t worry x
