Is anyone else finding weaning a tad painful?

It hasn’t been long and I know it will improve but sometimes it’s soooo frustrating!!… It’s not a LO’s fault and she’s learning but surely I can’t be the only one feeling like this?!…

This is my 2nd baby and I can openly tell you I HATE weaning. I hated it with my first and I hate it with my second

We are just doing purees at the moment which little one seems to be enjoying. I try not to stress over what she gets at the moment. And if she doesn't have some food one day or two days in a row I'm like meh! Tomorrow.

My girl is so independent she wants to do everything herself. But her slippery little digits drop things and she get so aggy 😂 I’m going to try spoon feeding her again tomo. Something super simple like Weetabix. Minimal prep work.

Can’t believe I’m admitting to this … but the mess 🤯

@Hayley omg the mess!!! It gets everywhere!

It's the mess that's gets me...it's all over her and all over me 🤣

It’s been a few weeks since we started, but my little one doesn’t seem very interested. He’ll take an occasional spoonful of porridge or avocado, but everything else just gets spit out😫

Yeah I feel the same - so much mess and waste! Just a learning curve though I guess. Just when you think you've got this baby stuff down, you've got to start weaning! 🤯

I love it and hate it at the same time. My LO wants only the smoothest puree ever. She loves almost everything but it has to be super smooth. I'm trying biscotti and wafels but is hard. And I HATE the mess with passion. I don't like dirtying my hands with food unless is pizza or wings so even seeing the food everywhere, on her hands, clothes, high chair...it bothers me a lot. But I love when she eats something and she really enjoys it

We are struggling at the moment. My little girl is 7 months this week and she’s refusing to wean.
