Aeroflow Breast Pumps

So I have been approved for some breast pumps for free with my insurance from Aeroflow. I was wondering if anyone who has had children before and knows this brand if they have any suggestions on which one to go with? Or even experience with breast pumps in general? I'm a FTM so I know hardly anything and feel kinda lost with so many options. Tyia!

Aeroflow isn't the brand of pump, it's basically a company that facilitates ordering one for you and coordinating with your insurance. I used it, it's really easy and had no issues. You just input your insurance info and they'll tell you which ones are approved. I got the wireless "wearable" Willow last time and it was okay but I didn't love it. It was easier for pumping at work in my office, but I didn't feel like I got as good and output as I did with my old workhorse Medela that I got secondhand from my sister. I also got a secondhand Ameda (replaced all the tubing & accessories) that is smaller so it worked better when I had to be out of the office. If I didn't already have so many pumps and accessories, I would have tried a Spectra as I saw a lot of good reviews for those and many people preferred it over the Medela. For the wearable many people prefer the Evie, but that was 5 years ago so I would read up on reviews of current models. tl;dr - I'd recommend a traditional Medela or Spectra for FTMs

Also, a lot of people like the Haka for letdown/leaking on the other side while nursing, but I could never get it to work very well. I never had any issues with leaking and never used the breast pads unless I was going to be out for like a super long time at a beer festival and probably wouldn't be pumping that night, but even then I don't think I ever really leaked. I had a strong letdown (had to lean back when starting a nursing session) and oversupply, so no correlation there. So maybe I'm just an anomaly in that sense.

@Audrey That's good to know I'll check into some options maybe get the free one from ins as a backup as well since it's free lol.

I'm a ftm so I did a lot of research and I ordered the Motif Luna. The pink Spectra S2 has to be plugged in to pump unless you upgrade to the blue one which Aeroflow did not give me the option to or I would have gotten that version. Between Medela and the Motif Luna, the Medela is heavier and doesn't have as good of a digital display. That and the Motif Luna allows you to manually switch between Let Down and Expression as well as adjust Cycle and Suction strength which I read the Medela does not have. Just some of what I read.
