I went to the ER because of bleeding and found out I have one. The doctor told me as the baby takes up more room in the uterus it’ll go away and not to worry. Told me no sex.
I had one, mine was larger than normal. It’s a lot smaller now. My doctor actually told me that nothing you do will make it go away unfortunately, no pelvic rest no bed rest nothing makes it better and I guess nothing makes it worse. You can cut things out at your discretion, I put myself on pelvic rest I did have a few mess ups but nothing happen to me. I only had bleeding once but when I went to the er they told me it was due to the transvaginal ultrasound so I brushed it off I have seen my baby since they and they are doing great. Just try not to stress about it, there is no correlation between subchorionic hematoma and miscarriage. Just take it day by day don’t stress to much about it. Best of luck to you and baby
She just assured me not to worry!
I had one! They found it at 6 weeks. I was told to take it easy, no heavy exercise (nothing more than walking), no sex, and just go about my day to day life. Mine thankfully got smaller and is virtually gone now (13 weeks)
I did. ER doctor told me it would heal on its own. To live life as normal and not stress. Showed me baby was safe and had a strong heartbeat. It took about 3 weeks to quit bleeding, but it did finally taper off. Started as bright red, but did turn brown and got watery as it healed. They said no sex, and I did read that it could last well into the 20 week mark, but luckily mine did not. They didn’t tell me the size of it, they were just super reassuring and compared it to like when a person busts blood vessels in their eye in anger or like a blood blister finally popping and draining. They did tell me that it was common in pregnancy and that 1 in 4 will experience it.
