Also, it’s normal if you poop on and off for the first few weeks than by end of 3rd week to 4th week, you should be pooping everyday
My nurses gave me stool softeners and told me to get more over the counter if I had issues but the cramps still hurt 🤧
@Kim yeah, I’ve been told the same! I’m currently 5 weeks postpartum and I’m still contracting and cramping down there!! I did a natural birth tho! And since I did epidural on my back, ever since, I never had pain on my back and spine but I did had shivers and felt very cold every time when I’m outside and it’s a little windy and cool air outside in general.
Omg 😳 I am jumping off the seat with the pain. It’s the worst. Coffee really helps cuz I don’t drink it that often.
I tried to drink more water (basically more hydration) and eat softer foods like white porridge or warm homemade soups and ever since I never had painful poops ever again. I’m currently 5 weeks postpartum.I also had tried my cultures own ginger tea which helped me lose a lot of pounds from all the belly fat from pregnancy. I almost got back to my original weight 4 weeks postpartum and I was super close like the weight before pregnancy. The first week, the painful stings down there and etc on the poop is very painful for me but it’s considered very normal. While I was in the hospital stays for 2 nights and 3 days total, I personally did not poop at all and only peed a lot even though I was taking the hospitals poop laxatives to help me poop and it didn’t work for me at all. I personally think it works for me a little after the 3 days at the hospital and also trying to take laxatives but I don’t know for everyone else who had my similar experiences with painful poop for the first week.
