Do you have a anterior placenta or posterior placenta

Anterior means placenta is in front of your uterus Posterior means placenta is behind your uterus

They said mine is anterior, but really it was right at the very top of my uterus! Currently 20 weeks so maybe it’ll move as I continue to grow and everything spreads out.

@Terri lynn hopefully it moves for you so you can experience all babies kicks and movements <3

@Destyni - I hope so too! So far with the way he’s positioned he’s sideways so I can feel the tiniest flutter kicks, but nowhere near as much as I did with my first at this stage.

My previous were anterior, but at the only u/s I've had so far this time she said she couldn't tell yet. My anatomy scan is coming up next week, so maybe I'll find out then.

Mine is anterior this time. I had a posterior placenta with my other two daughters so this is a first having an anterior now.

@Heather - Have you noticed much difference in feeling movement?

At 12 weeks and 5days pregnant I had a posterior placenta but now at my 18 weeks and 3days its moving half of my placenta is on top 🙃 so I bet at my 20 weeks scan mine is going to have a anterior placenta I'm OK with it because I'm having a C section at least I know that they can't cut his face on Accident

Had my 20wk scan today, another anterior placenta but still surprised I wasn't feeling anything as much as he was wriggling around and kicking! With my last I felt a lot of movement later on, so I'm sure I will eventually with this one too.
