Some places might offer you an early ultrasound at 8 weeks. If you wanted reassurance or answers I would go get checked and see if everything is ok. Hope it’s all nothing to worry about for you! I had spotting around 7-8 weeks which self resolved and an extra ultrasound telling me everything was alright also made me much more reassured!! Good luck!
I had spotting on and off throughout my first trimester, and a couple of times after sex. I did go in for an early scan for reassurance so if you can try and get one. Tomorrow I will be 36 weeks pregnant. Try not to worry and definitely go for an early ultrasound if you can. Sending positive thoughts x
Spotting is normal, and intercourse can cause it. I went to epu at 6 weeks for a scan due to spotting. They told us no sex until after 12 weeks now.
Sex can irritate your uterus
I had spotting and then bright red bleeding for a day at 7 weeks pregnant after I had sex. My baby is currently 3 months. She was a rainbow baby after a miscarriage so I get your concern. Try getting a referral to epu or a private scan. But sex can irritate the cervix and cause bleeding as well x
It can be irritation from sex or cause for a concern. Can you go in for a scan? Also, can you maybe ask your provider about estrogen tablets with you history?
Oh ok I didn’t know estrogen tablets . They didn’t express any concern as I only had one miscarriage . I haven’t had bleeding in a few hours so I hope it is irritation and I will keep an eye . I had a scan at 6 weeks and I saw the baby’s heart best , hope he’s sticking and still well. Thank you for all your replies
I had spotting throughout all my 7 pregnancies but unfortunately I miscarriage them all (with my ex fiancé) now 7 years on and married to my husband for 5 years.. we are 13 weeks .. had no spotting at all just tender boobs and all good x
Well what epu will tell you is no more intercourse until spotting has completely stopped and tbh I personally wouldn't risk intercourse not this early on when spotting is more likely and to cause you to worry
