TW miscarriage

Hi everyone My period was a week or two late didn’t think much of it as bf but the pain today was unbearable and I’ve passed two largeish clots which made me panic! Took a test and it’s positive does this sound likely miscarriage. Do I need a doctor or can wait it out ? I can’t have anymore days off work so panicking

I’ve had the same sort of thing had bleeding the last couple of days then period came this morning & passed a clot. I’ve tested positive yesterday & been told by the early pregnancy department to test again in a week or so to make sure test comes back negative x

My line was a lot more faint than your one but then again it was just an Amazon one and a clear blue my lines were always quite faint! I think I should of been around 5 weeks today xx

I’d does sound like one unfortunately . I’d contact your midwife unit to get seen as you’ll need to check all the tissue has naturally passed as sometimes it doesn’t and you may need medication or surgical removal x

I’m afraid it does sound like a miscarriage. I had one also at 6 weeks that sounds similar. I didn’t need to go to hospital but they took bloods at GP to confirm the pregnancy had ended and hormone levels were back to normal. Others seem to have gone in to ensure all pregnancy tissue has passed but I think that depends on what your local Early Pregnancy Unit advises. So best contact them in case.
