Pain during sex where the stitches were. I had some stitches on my perineum and now the area seems a little firmer. And it’s sensitive/painful. Like we can’t even fully actually have intercourse because of the discomfort.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does it just need to be stretched? Will it be like this forever?

Yes I had four stitches on my left side of the vaginal wall and when we had intercourse it was very uncomfortable but we took it slow and eventually everything seemed okay
Have you also tried using lube? That could help maybe?

Yes, it can take some time to feel normal again. It's scar tissue now , you can do massages to help and if it doesn't get better after awhile you should probably go see a physical therapist. I tore with both my babies and it definitely feels a little uncomfortable for a little but try some massages and use lube during intercourse.
