Rant

MIL is a complete nightmare since day one! Husband had surgery and she told him not even a week after recovery that he had to go to another state with them or she would disown him. Called me multiple names to my husband over text. After I gave birth, she drove down 14 hours to visit and proceeded to make everything about her. Complained how I didn’t greet her or ask her how her day was or anything like I just didn’t give birth to her preemie granddaughter that was in the nicu and said I would use her as bait against her. Left during the week when she was supposed to stay long after I gave birth because she didn’t feel welcome. I didn’t want her in my house or be near my few day newborn as she had driven from a different state. Who knows what germs she had or bacteria. Mil gets butthurt whenever I set rules for my daughter and acts like she has authority over me to do whatever she wants. Oh and THE BEST PART! Woke up to find my daughter in a swing on the counter in the morning! It was almost bigger than the counter and she decided that she was going to leave her there and eat her breakfast on the couch! I had never been so pissed before in my life. Ps. The swing had no rubber to prevent sliding and the counter was tiny and slippery. She is the worst person ever.
