Anyone else found month 3 so hard??

Just putting it out there to see if anyone else has had a similar experience and when I can expect a bit of light at the end of the tunnel I'm a first time mom and have definitely suffered with some form of PND and/or post partum anxiety. I really struggled through the newborn phase but kept seeing online after week 12 it gets easier. Well I found the complete opposite! For me, month 3 has been sooo hard. We're just getting to month 4 now but pretty sure we've been going through the dreaded sleep regression for most of this month. Plus we think she is teething and we are in the trenches of the crap nap (30 minute nap) stage. I found myself in a wormhole of advice on wake windows, sleep schedules etc but I just think every baby is different and should just follow her lead. But easier said than done! Don't get me wrong, it's easier in that she doesn't have wind issues anymore, i can usually tell what's bothering her now and she's a lot more alert and interactive which is great. But this month has just been so draining. Did anyone else feel this way about month 3? And if so when did it start to feel a bit better?

For me 2nd and 3rd month were the worst. It became easier around 4th month ❤️

Uuuugh my LO is 4 months and I feel like it’s all been hard. Colicky at first but slept really well at night, then around 3 months completely stopped sleeping in his crib and must contact nap😭 I really don’t like the newborn phase AT ALL!!! This is my second baby and it was just as hard last time😭 she had different problems but it was still hard (not as colicky, TERRIBLE napper, just hated to sleep buuut she did sleep in her crib) Every always says “oh I love babies” or “I miss that age” and I just don’t understand 😭😭😭

I’m about to enter the 3rd month :/ he turns 3 months on the 28…. I’m exhausted all the time and go back to work next month so there’s that 🙃🙂

Oh my god, I feel this so much. I did not enjoy the newborn stage. Everyone said it’s easier after 12 weeks, which some weeks it is. But the last couple weeks have been tough (LO is 16weeks Monday) & I think we’re going into a sleep regression too. Naps are so much shorter even on me, she battles her last nap and fights bedtime which she’s never done before. She’s always good to be put down, with dummy and settle herself off. I’m hoping month 4 or just after it gets easier as this can be so exhausting. 😔
