Baby being passed around at Christmas

With Christmas approaching does anyone else hate the idea of family members you don’t really get on with holding your little one? I know people can be firm about others holding their baby but he’s not a newborn anymore and some are quite close family so I feel there’s an expectation.

Yesssss I feel the same. I really don’t like it.

I don’t mind. As long as they’re not ill it doesn’t bother me. If anything I can’t wait to have other people around so I don’t have to entertain him all the time. Having said that it is just immediate family that will be over x

Unless I want to, I never offer to pass baby to people. And if someone says can I have a cuddle and I don’t want to, I usually just say ahh he’s a mummy’s boy and a bit tired so best not but you can say hi. I feel like it’s an easy way to say no without offending anyone x

It’s your baby. You don’t need to please anyone but yourself and your baby. Xx
