Pregnancy after pprom

I was pregnant earlier this year with our baby boy but lost him in June after my waters breaking at 16w 4d baby was born at 16w 6d I am currently 6w pregnant and i am so nervous it will happen again, i will be high risk pregnancy and see FMU from 12 weeks onwards for cervical checks and likely be taking aspirin from then on Reasons for previous pprom were acute Chorioamnionitis but they cannot confirm if thats what caused it because they are unsure if i got it before or after my waters broke Subchronic hematoma and possible placental abruption and i lost 1ltr of blood at the time baby was born, I’m so nervous this pregnancy i just want everything to be ok Those of you who were pregnant after pprom loss how was it for you? Did you pprom again? What did you do to prevent it happening again? Just anything that will help me please 😅

Hey, I don't know if this helps at all, 2yrs ago I ppromed at 22wks and gave birth at 24wks as I caught an infection, ffw our little boy will be 3 next year! Last year I fell pregnant again and as you've mentioned referred to the baby prem clinic, where I also had cervix scans each visit- depends on the hospital but I also had a mini scan of baby not in detail but was always reassuring and we got to hear babies heart beat each visit. At 21wks my cervix was opening so I had a stitch put in and monitored again till 34wks i had it removed at 37wks and gave birth at 39wks to our little girl , she'll be 1 in January I honestly can't imagine how you dealt with what happened, I always believe we have to remain strong and positive , control what we can but if not God will look after us 💓💓
