At this point I honestly just feel like our relationship is over. As bad as I want it to continue I just think it’s dying and we are only coexisting and still together because I’m having a baby in February. Would it be worth to go to couples therapy?

@Svenja well technically we are not even a couple anymore lol. But I don’t think that’s something we can afford to do honestly

It is normal to feel like you hate each other in the third trimester. Just think that the person you are when you’re pregnant is not your real you. We don’t notice it but we are extremely sensitive and our moods change all the time. I felt like this when I was pregnant with my first. I didn’t think we were going to divorce but I felt we hated each other and after the post partum period ended and our baby started to actually sleep, it got better. I wouldn’t take seriously anything right now and definitely I wouldn’t make any decisions until the baby is at least 2-3 months old. You’ll see how everything changes! Now I’m expecting my second and yes, again I feel that rage and everything my husband does makes me cry or feel mad 🤭 but neither of us take it seriously because we know how it is. I hope you can go through these last couple of weeks. Not for nothing therapists call it “the roommate stage”.

@Florencia that’s really good advice! I agree. Pregnancy is truly a test and it’s probably worth seeing how things progress once you had your baby.

Honestly this is far beyond just pregnancy hormones and not liking each other because of that. We’ve been off and on for almost 5 years and we weren’t even together when she was conceived. We only got back together because I got pregnant honestly this never should have happened but I’m due in February so that conversation is pointless to even have
